You asked for it, and we answered. Presenting, The Hillman! 

An Open enduro race created by WORCA as a twin event for our Women’s enduro+, The Witsend (same course, the day after our Women’s event).

Key Dates For 2026

  • Race Day: Sunday September 20, 2026

  • Registration Opens: Monday May 15, 2026 @ 9:00am

  • Registration Closes: Monday September 14, 2026 at 11:45 PM

  • Refund Deadline: August 20, 2026 (a $20 processing fee applies). Membership fees are non-refundable.

Course Options

Please choose your course during registration:

  • Full Course: U20, 20-39, 40+

  • Short Course: U12, U15, 15-19, 20-39, 40+

    *If fewer than 5 racers are in any category, those riders will be grouped into another category for the awards.

Age Categories & Fees

  • Age categories are based on your age as of December 31, 2026

  • You will be automatically assigned to the correct category based on your date of birth

Entry Fees:

Your entry fee for The Hillman includes race entry and racer plate, rider swag, on-course nutrition stations, event après including dinner and bevvies, chances to win prizes, and of course, a super rad day out on bikes with old friends and new!

A WORCA Membership is required to register for any WORCA event. For those living outside of Whistler who do not already have a WORCA membership, you will be able to purchase a SINGLE-EVENT membership for $20 to participate in The Hillman when you register.

  • $100 — Ages 21+

  • $85 — U20

If the cost of registration is a financial barrier for you taking part in the event, please contact outreach services at Whistler Community Services Society -we proudly work with WCSS to ensure the event is accessible to anyone and everyone.

About the event

The Hillman is for those who just love riding their bikes but also want to push themselves to the edge to see what they’re made of.

The Hillman is an Open Enduro race, welcoming riders of all genders to take on the challenge and the fun. It takes place on the same weekend as the WORCA Women’s Enduro, The Witsend, making it a twin event celebration of enduro racing.

With the two options of Short and Long Course, the Short Course will be appropriate for intermediate riders, while the Long Course will include trails more suitable for strong intermediate to advanced riders. (i.e., entry-level riders should review the course and determine if it is suited to their skill set).

The Story Behind the Name

The Hillman - A legacy: a real individual, and the name of a historic structure in Whistler. The Hillman was a person who defied easy categorization, much like the trails themselves. And the building? It was the original Toad Hall, a cornerstone of local lore. Read more about The Hillman.
