June 14 Trail Report – Next Alpine Dream Day is June 21

June 14th Trail Report Last week was a milestone for WORCA with  two different volunteer days breaking ground on our first ever authorized and sanctioned trails WORCA can build. ‘A Cut Above’ started by Tuesday nights' volunteer team (thank you Arbutus Routes for sponsoring!) is our first sanctioned trail WORCA applied to construct.  Last Saturday the first volunteer day on the Alpine Sproatt Project took place with 23 volunteer building  approximately 160 meters of trail. Trail Report – May 25th

It's been a great start to the trail building season. Tim Haggerty, Dan Raymond and Zander Strathearn have kept things on track and led some great volunteer days. Raffle Tickets On Sale Now

Last year our raffle raised a lot of much-needed funds for our trails program so we're doing it again!  Thanks to the generosity of six local businesses we have been able to pull together a compilation of amazing prizes.  Sales commenced at the bike swap and tickets (1 for $5, 5 for $20 and 15 for $50) will be sold at all WORCA events until the draw at the 25 Year Anniversary Celebration on June 15th and at Summit Sport, Comor and ... New Sproatt Alpine Mulit-Use Trail Announced

We've made reference to the Sproatt Trail in the past but we are very excited to officially announce this upcoming project! This spring WORCA's trail crew and volunteers will be breaking ground beginning the construction of an alpine trail which will descend from near the summit of Sproatt Mountain to the Flank Trail. Big cheers to the beautiful people that build the re-route on middle Danimal last Tuesday night. It got done in about three hours, not including the prep work and finishing touches by WORCA's trail builders.
