I went on a tree clearing mission through the no flow zone after the last snowstorm and stumbled upon a broken bridge on "Shit Happens south". The next day's work plan changed instantly: the crossing was sketchy! Operating a chainsaw in a residential area always draws attention, so it was no surprise to meet some of the neighbours:

You're invited to an evening of preliminary trail planning, discussion and networking. We will be seeking ideas and feedback for Whistler's future trails. Trail builders, mountain bikers, hikers & anyone with an interest in hearing what WORCA is up to is welcome to join us on Thursday March 2nd, 7pm at Forlise (immediately left of Lululemon in Whistler Village). WORCA invites all businesses/organisations (or a representative of the business) interested in (co) hosting a 2017 Toonie ride to the 2017 Toonie Ride Date Fixing Meeting on Feb 21, 2017. A representative for each business/sponsorship group must be present for inclusion in the 2017 Toonie series. Available ride dates range from early May to Early September. Note that certain sponsors/dates will have restrictions due to bike park opening hours and requests from the RMOW.

Open to all abilities, the game will be to collect as many cards and points as possible. The ‘route’ is around 70km, with 52 trails from Function to Wedge and back to Lost Lake. (subject to change). WORCA is pleased to announce that ZEP Techniques are offering Trick Tuesdays to WORCA members all summer long to celebrate their 10th season of operations. Space is limited to 14 people. Register via ZEP's Facebook event on a First Come First Served basis.
