2017 Lumpy’s Award goes to Amy Ertel

The Lumpy Award was presented by WORCA President Craig Mackenzie at the 2017 WORCA AGM. 'Geoff "Lumpy" Leidal was a local athlete who was killed in an avalanche in 1998. In his honor, the Lumpy Leidal Award is presented each year to a local junior who has been found outstanding as a sportsperson, a volunteer and someone who epitomizes athleticism in our local youth. The WORCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Thursday, November 16. During the AGM all Board of Director (BOD) positions are up for election/re-election.
