Youth Dirt Camp Registration is Now Open
For schedule of dates and full camp details, please visit the youth section of our website.
We ask that parents register their children for one camp only. There is a high demand for the WORCA Dirt Camps and we like to give as many kids the opportunity to participate. Any spaces available on July 1st will be opened up to everybody.
Due to continued community grants, local fundraising efforts, and the profit made from our community bike swap, the price for local residents will remain $160 for the Dirt Camps. Local residents will be given priority to register their child(ren) starting on May 1, 2009. Please note, the dirt camp pricing for Squamish and Pemberton residents will default to $260. After registration, participants will be refunded the $100 difference.
If you are visiting Whistler, we would love to have your children participate in our Dirt Camps. Registration will be available for visitors on July 1, 2009 and the cost will be $260.
For your convenience please have ready prior to registration:
- A valid WORCA membership is required for each participant. You will be asked to sign in using the login and password you created when purchasing your membership. If you have not renewed your memberships for this year, the camp registration form will say “no camps are available”. Memberships can be purchased online here.
- Participant’s medical doctor
- Date of most recent tetanus shot
- Medical Insurance number and date effective
- Emergency contact name(s) and phone number(s)
- Person(s) authorized to pick up participant: name(s) and phone number(s)

Bike Swap!
Ok riders - remember that tough section or when you crashed hard then thought to yourself - Damit, I wish I’d started riding younger! Well, it’s too late for you… but not the local kids.
Buy or sell at the Annual WORCA Bike Swap and you can help more young people get involved in riding with all proceeds going to Youth Dirt Camps and the new Whistler Secondary mountain bike team for 2010 season. This year, the Bike Swap will take place on Saturday, April 24 at Celebration Plaza in Village North.
It’s time to clean out the gear shed, crawl space, garage, storage locker, closet, trunk, boot, under the deck, or start calling around to figure out where you left everything last season. The riding season is upon us, it’s time to trade up, trade down, invest, or move on. There are deals to be had!
The RMOW has graciously offered up the, soon to be remodeled, Celebration Plaza area for this years SWAP location. Bigger is better.
